Transformation rarely arrives with warning, it often happens in silence, through moments that change everything. For Bente, that awakening came overnight. “It happened overnight … a shift I could never have planned. My soul took over, and suddenly I saw who I truly am,” she recalls. The journey that followed was both painful and liberating, marked by forgiveness and self-acceptance. “That forgiveness became freedom,” she reflects. Today, she lives aligned with her truth, honest, aware, and deeply human.
For Bente, authenticity is not a concept, it’s a commitment. “Honesty keeps me authentic; every time I turn away from it, I lose myself,” she says. That self-awareness has become the foundation of her life and leadership philosophy. She believes that the future of leadership lies in rediscovering the innocence and curiosity we had as children. “I believe the future of leadership lies in the wisdom we had as children, in curiosity, authenticity, and presence,” she says.
Her work bridges early education and executive leadership, helping individuals reconnect with their truest selves before they learn what to do. Through her programs, Bente designs transformative experiences that guide people toward awareness, empathy, and clarity. “My vision is to build an organization that redefines how we grow, from the first years of learning to the highest levels of leadership, through the power of presence and truth,” she explains.
But transformation never comes without struggle. For Bente, the hardest challenge was unlearning the protective layers she had built over the years. “For years, I appeared confident and in control, but embracing my true self took courage,” she says. Vulnerability was her teacher, and persistence was her greatest ally. “Authenticity meant accepting that not everyone would understand or support me, yet staying true to my vision made their opinions irrelevant.”
She admits that the path wasn’t always rewarding. There were moments of isolation and doubt, times when faith was her only compass. “Persistence was another test, continuing without reward or recognition, trusting the unseen seed I had planted,” she recalls. When the results finally began to show, the experience felt humbling and sacred.
Her passion is as wide and vibrant as her philosophy, poetry, art, sports, space, nature, animals, and human connection. “Poetry connects me to emotion, art to creation, sports to strength and presence, nature to balance, animals to empathy, space to curiosity, and human connection to the shared heartbeat of it all,” she says. For Bente, life itself is an exploration, a rhythm between stillness and movement, earth and sky, body and soul.
When asked whether she sees herself in the rat race or as a tiger, her answer is clear. “Definitely a tiger,” she smiles. “I spent 37 years in the rat race, chasing success, approval, and belonging. Most people in that race don’t realize they, too, have the chance to be a tiger.” Today, she dedicates her work to helping others cross that bridge, to rediscover their strength, their truth, and their inner fire.
Her inspiration comes from something much deeper than external success. “My inspiration comes from creation itself, the mystery that flows through us before we even understand it,” she shares. For her, poetry became a bridge to that source. “My desire is a seed planted by creation within me, to live in alignment with that source in every part of my life. It’s beyond religion, beyond roots and tradition. It’s something that creates peace, a quiet harmony that feels like home.”
In 2025, her work received international recognition when she was honored with the Medal of Honour and the title Global Peace Ambassador for Transformational Leadership in Dubai, and was named by Passion Vista among the “Women Leaders to Look Up To.” Yet, Bente views awards as reflections of a deeper truth. “My real achievement lies in persistence and in believing before others did,” she says. “Every recognition is a reminder to give back through awareness and presence.”
For Bente, leadership is not about commanding followers, it’s about awakening leaders. “Great leaders don’t just speak, they make you feel every word,” she asserts. “Leadership, to me, is not about creating followers but awakening more leaders. It’s about presence, honesty, and the courage to hold space for truth.” Her definition of leadership moves beyond structure, it’s about shared awareness, not control.
As she looks to the future, her message is one of hope and empowerment. “We do have a chance to take action right now and to believe in the impossible,” she says. “Our potential is far greater than we allow ourselves to see. When we raise awareness, innovation rises through the roof.”
Through her journey, Bente reminds the world that authenticity is not just a virtue, it’s a revolution. And the moment we decide to act with awareness and courage, that revolution begins within us.
